Mike was born and raised in Southeast Iowa. He has many years of experience in banking and financial services. He is very active in the Greater Burlington Partnership. Currently he is on the Convention and Visitors' Bureau Steering Committee. He is a past president of the Burlington Rotary Club; he is a member of the Business Planning Competition/Entrepreneurship; he is on the advisory board of "Bridges Out of Poverty," and he was the Campaign Co-Chair for SCC's Building a Dream campaign. Mike and his wife have two adorable boys.
